Vintage Pineapple, Acorn Newel Post Staircase Finial Made In Portugal

Amazing vintage, large and heavy solid brass finial in the classic shape of a pineapple, pine cone or acorn depending on who you ask! Hand chased in Portugal, in the early to mid century time frame, I’m guessing. The Portugal stamp is on the bottom of the base. 2 piece set up held together by a threaded stud, which will be included. See the pics for dimensions, but the two pieces together are 6” tall. The pineapple by itself is 4” tall and 2 1/2” at its widest.
