Vintage L.S. Starrett Machinist Rule Holder Base No. 62

Here is a vintage American made L.S. Starrett No. 62 rule holder that holds rules from 3/4" to 1 9/16" wide. It has been used so you will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. One of these imperfections is that the original owner lightly scribed his/her initials on the bottom of this holder.(see the last photo) Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice used rule holder. There is a scale in some of the photographs. It os just for demonstration and is not included. Please look at all of the photographs as they can help describe the condition of this holder much better than I can. This American made tool is ready to go back to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox.
