Vintage Cast Metal American Eagle Flag Pole Topper Finial

5” tall x 5-1/2” wide I bought this item at an estate sale so I do not know its origin. It is gold colored, maybe brass gilted? It is heavy but it is not solid brass as you can see where it is rubbed in places down to the metal. Please examine the photos and decide for yourself.
