This was the
original Broadway run
of this popular musical comedy which opened in
November 1960
. The Playbill features most of the original Broadway cast, including
Tammy Grimes
and
Harve Presnell,
who are pictured on the cover, as well as Cameron Prud’homme, Edith Gresham, Arthur Tookoyan, Jack Harrold, Dick O’Neill, Patricia Finch, Vernon Kidd, Patricia Kelly, and several others.
Tammy Grimes
won the
1961 Tony Award
for
Best Featured Actress in a Musical
for her performace. As shown in the photos, this vintage Playbill magazine is in very good condition with a little cover wear and creasing. The Playbill is complete and remains securely stapled from its cover to its centerfold. Its has clean pages with a few light creases and no writing, rips, or tears. This vintage Broadway Playbill magazine would make a great addition to your collection!
