    Description

    This matched pair of finials are in excellent condition. Interesting pair of architectural salvage items here.  The mounting hole is roughly 3/4" to 15/16ths.  These have not been cleaned. These are quite heavy also. Not sure if they are from a fireplace dog set?  Or who knows what? I would think they are made to set upright and no hole to affix them to a curtain rod or a tube or rod. The detail is quit intricate and they are quality made. I don't see any casting maker or manufacturer logo anywhere on these. Maybe they can be repurposed to something different?
