    The Stericut Tail Docker from Cotran uses butane to heat the cutting blade to 850 degrees. The extreme heat cauterizes the wound as the cut is made, reducing bleeding, infection and the need for medication. Each cartridge yields 90 minutes of working time and the tail docker uses standard butane fuel cartridges for refills.  Made in the USA.
