    Three vintage reference photographs of actress Janis Carter from the 1947 film noir. All three photographs with one provenance stamp on the verso and one photograph with some adhesive residue on the verso. One photograph with manucript ink annotation on the bottom border of the recto identifying the actress.
    A man drives into a small town in a truck with no brakes. He hits another car and is arrested after sitting down at the local diner and befriending a waitress. The waitress bails him out of jail but she has ulterior motives.
    Partially shot on location at Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino National Forest in California.
    8 x 10 inches. Very Good, with one photograph with some slight creasing along the bottom edge, one photograph with slight creasing along the top edge, and one photograph with some creasing along the top and bottom edge and offsetting on the bottom right corner of the recto.
