Cosmetic scratches on plastic and metal and some discoloration and dings on metal, but nothing that would affect performance in any way.
You may have to adjust the tensioner to your liking when you start clipping. Enclosed will be a provided sheet which will explain how, as over tightening ruins clippers and blades more than any other reason.
This is a great deal for someone as these are very expensive when new and these older clippers are workhorses and built to last for many years as long as they are maintained properly, unlike some of the other newer imported brands out there today. I also have other clippers listed, so you may want to check them out as well.
