1966 Philippine BEATLES CONCERT Car Bumper STICKER – ARANETA COLISEUM RED Sticker
This is a very very Rare Philippine Beatles Car Bumper Sticker. Notice that the venue is ARANETA COLISEUM.
The original venue of the Beatles concert was Araneta Coliseum.
They wanted to showcase the newly built and beautiful air-conditioned coliseum, which is one of the largest in world in 1966.
Unfortunately the estimated patronage would not fit the Coliseum so they have to transfer to the bigger RIZAL MEMORIAL FOOTBALL
STADIUM.
The date of the concert is still the same JULY 4
(1966).
This sticker was made prior to the change of plan and was recalled instantly. A handful of these stickers were released and my friend was able to save this.
He said that there were 5 color that made.
I have been collecting Philippine Beatles memorabilia up to know this is the only one that I have seen.
This is the prototype where the later concert stickers were patterned.
Measures approximately 7 ½” x 3 ¼”.
The sticker is flat and in very good condition. There are no sticky residues at the back.
The paper at the back has toned due to age.
