    Description

    For sale is a new old stock FENWAL Thermoswitch Control #17123-0, left behind in the electronics components of my late father.  He always kept spare parts on hand for speedy repairs, and this was apparently not needed.  It is new, in the original packaging, though the end of the box has been torn.  My dad wrote in pencil on the end of the box "Temp closes on temp rise."  I'm guessing that was a note to himself about how the control works.   We have not tested this control.  No returns on electronics.
    I checked around on line for some further information about this switch for you, and here's some of what I found:
    Fenwal Thermoswitch 01-017123-000. Hex Head Thermoswitch element is 2.97 inches long and .625 inch diameter has all the basic elements of an ideal thermostat, high sensitivity, wide range, small size and rugged construction. The 17123 series closes on temperature rise, has a range of -100 to 600 degrees F and has a 10 amp contact rating. This Thermoswitch is 300 Stainless Steel shell with Hex Head, 1/2 inch NPT threaded fitting and has 10 inch leads.
    It has a rating of 10 amps at 115 volts AC, and 5 amps at 230 volts AC.
