This auction is for PLATE NUMBER COILS of Scott #5260 Plate #P111 (Plate number strips of 5), #5261 Plate #B111 (PNC5) and #5260(CF?) Plate #P111

(Plate Number Strip of 7). Recently discovered (as of 5/2021), the (CF) is not yet listed in the 2021 Scott US Specialized catalogue, but WILL be in future listings.
This (CF) PNC7 is especially striking in that it has BCA (Banknote Corporation of America) type die-cuts, the microprinting is in the BCA location, yet the plate number is P111

, reflecting Ashton Potter origins.  Also, an extra Yellow "1"
is in the plate number not present in the plate numbers of the regular strips
. Black dots are also present in all red stripes and the red plate number digit of the (CF) PNC. The original discovery of a used single without plate number prompted the classification of this as a #5261(CF), but the plate number will change this to a #5260(CF).

The strips are mint, never hinged and have no flaws of any kind. The image above is a stock scan, but the stamps that you will receive will be virtually the same in quality.
