    The overall diameter  is 6 " and the hight is 8" just the finial
    Look to be made from oak or ash.
    There is some chips in the wood see pictures.
    In original as found condition. Has old paint and grim on the surface.
    You may want to keep it the way it is or you can remove the paint and refinish.
