This is a rare December 18th, 1961 "On Stage" playbill from the National Tour engagement of the LORING MANDEL play "ADVISE AND CONSENT" at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The production opened November 17th, 1960 at the Cort Theatre in New York City and ran for 212 performances before going on the road.) ..... Based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by ALLEN DRURY, the play starred FARLEY GRANGER and CHESTER MORRIS and featured ROYAL BEAL, RUSSELL GAIGE, HOUSE JAMESON, ATWOOD LEVENSALER, BETTY ROLLIN, ARCHIE SMITH, KAY DOUBLEDAY, GRANT CODE, HARRY MILLARD and VAN ACKERMAN .....
