Please remember that as a seller, my sales costs also include packaging tape, printer ink, printer paper, shipping supplies, sales tracking and auction listing tools, not to mention the 12-14% that eBay commissions and payment processing take off the top for fees and commissions. All of these costs are included in what you are paying.
In the past our images were made using a scanner or camera at very high resolution, exposing many minor flaws that are NOT visible to the human eye. There is a tendency for scanner images to wash out certain colors such as skintones and not pick up silver or gold tones well. I am currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max with the app "Photoroom" to remove any background, providing a stellar image of the actual pin. Please know that as these images are also at very high resolution, flaws, marks, and other imperfections not or barely visible to the human eye may be exposed. Having sold pins for 23 years now, it is nigh impossible to find any pin that I would call "perfect". I also remove the outer plastic wrapper in order to give the images a cleaner line and I return them to the wrapper after taking the image.
Florida residents are subject to 6.5% sales tax. Other states sales taxes are collected and remitted directly by eBay.
Description: Alice takes the stand amid a gauntlet of Playing Cards on this dramatic gold-finished pin, one in a series re-creating famous scenes from Walt Disney's 1951 animated feature Alice In Wonderland. It's a Disney Auctions exclusive in a limited edition of 500 fixed-price pins, was available only from Disney's Purchase It Now Store at DisneyAuctions.com. Alice is standing in a witness box, her hands are clasped in front of her chest. To either side are cards lined up. To her right are the heart cards. Directly next to her on either side is a spade holding a spear. There is a line of spades behind the lower left guard. The floor is purple tile, each with a single red heart in the center. There is a red carpet that runs from one side, under the podium, and continues presumably up to the throne.
