  • Condition: These are stainless steel speculums. They are pretty hard to damage so they look nearly new even though they have been used for about 35 years on an occasional basis.

    Description

    Three stainless steel oral speculums to aid in examination of birds and some reptiles -- pretty much anything with a beak. They are inserted sideways and then turned to open the beak. There is significant leverage and so caution is advised.  Everyone has a way they get the beak open for examination but this is a particularly easy way and with caution is of low risk to the bird or reptile. The large one is about 7 inches long and the other two are close to 5 inches in length. The wider width section is 2 inches, 2 inch and 3/4 inch and the narrower end is 3/4, 1/2 and 3/8 inch.
