These clamps mount to any length of 3/4 inch diameter heavy black or galvanized pipe with both ends threaded. Note: Pipe is not included. For best results, ensure the pipe is 5 inches longer than your workpiece. Clamp jaws are made from malleable steel for strong and rigid clamping. Clamp jaws are powder coated to resist corrosion and prevent glue from sticking. The clamp jaws feature a large 1-3/4 inch wide by 1-3/4 inch tall clamping surface. The moveable jaws feature .600 inch diameter smooth-turning carbon steel Acme screw threads that produce high clamping pressure with less effort. Acme threads are zinc plated to prevent corrosion and minimize glue buildup. Maximum screw travel is 2 inches. T-handle is one-piece malleable steel with a 3/4 inch clearance above the work surface. Set comes with removable clamp pads to prevent marring of your workpiece. The multiple-disc, spring level clutch plates securely hold any adjustment along the length of the pipe and are easily disengaged and moved to new settings. Maximum clamping pressure is 1570 pounds.
