With only 10k miles and presented in excellent condition, this example of course wears the 'Mystichrome Clearcoat' Exterior Paint over a 'Dark Charcoal/Mystichrome' Interior. 1 of just 515 Mystichrome Cobra Coupes produced, this is a rare example of a New Edge Mustang, and this edition is quickly gaining collectibility. This specific Mystichrome, in addition to the Mystichrome Package optioned from the factory, possesses some slight performance modifications, all tastefully done. Metco Pulleys were fitted to the supercharger and engine, while a JLT Ram Air Intake and JDM SCT Tune are also present to help produce more power. An upgraded Gates K080755 belt, O2 Sensor Extenders, JLT Oil Separator, JLT Splash Guards, and Ford AGSF12FM1 spark plugs gapped at .035 are all also installed. Finally, Magnaflow helps to gain more voice and output out of the Mystichrome's engine, with a Catted X Pipe and Catback Exhaust including SLP LM1 Resonators all installed. Putting the power to the road are aftermarket Toyo tires, with R1s fitted at the front and R888s mounted at the rear.
The Mystichrome Cobra--when stock--is not mechanically different than other Cobras in 2004, yet cosmetically it contrasts many others. A pearlescent exterior paint finish changes from blue, to green, and even to purple depending on lighting and viewing angles. Chrome 17" Alloy wheels provide plenty of shine to bring some more 'flash' to the exterior, while the interior brags similarly pearlescent finishes just like the exterior paint. The seat inserts for both the front and back seats boast the same dynamic color shift, and even the leather wrapped steering wheel sports certain sections that wear leather with the same color shifting ability.
Mechanically, the SVT Cobra Coupe features a 4.6L Supercharged V8 engine, pushing out 390hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. These numbers are likely to be higher on this example, due to the modifications. In fact, a DynoJet dyno research test revealed output numbers of 440hp and 471 lb-ft of torque for this specific Cobra. The explanatory dyno paperwork is included with the vehicle amongst its documentation. Fitted with a 6-speed Manual Transmission, 0-60 can be achieved in as little as 4.5 seconds, which in 2004 meant this car was certainly no slouch. SVT furthermore fitted these Cobras with a Handling-tuned suspension system, featuring Independent Rear Suspension and 275/40ZR17 High Performance Tires. On the inside, the special SVT Leather Interior is accompanied by SVT Instrumentation, a Mach Audio System, a 6-Disc CD Changer, and a 6-Way Power Driver's Seat.
