1992 Ford 5.0 LX Mustang Convertible

We love Mustangs.
This 1992 Ford Mustang LX 5.0L Convertible has a rare color,
Bright Regatta Blue
, and it runs and drives, but needs someone familiar with 5.0  wiring to put it back properly.
A friend tried to update the wiring and he got the car running, but now it needs the controls for the windows, doors, lights, fuel pump, etc. to work properly.
It may be as simple as just buying the correct interior wiring harness or finding it from another 1992 Mustang.
The engine runs great, and transmission works fine. We were told that the engine was rebuilt, but we don’t have the details, but it sounds great.
There are a couple of knicks and scratches in the paint, but otherwise the body is straight and ready for touch up paint.
We even bought new carpet for the car (see pictures). You will also need a back seat, but those are easy to find.
This Mustang is great for anyone that is handy and wants a drop-top powerful Mustang with a beautiful distinctive color.
The
Bright Regatta Blue
was only offered for six years, and it is a beautiful color. The LX trim make the whole car a bit more sophisticated. The white convertible top coordinates with this package, and gives it a crisp and clean style, this convertible will look good anywhere it goes.
This luxury LX has the best features like power mirrors, power locks, a center console, but the console is cracked and you may want to upgrade interior once you get the wiring fixed. Power windows and a power convertible top allow you to open this one up without ever leaving the driver's seat.
Under the hood is the famous Ford 5.0 liter V-8 cylinder electronically fuel injected engine. This is a fuel-injected engine, and so it starts, runs, and drives, with the ability to spin the wheels on takeoff.
It's unknown if the odometer reflects the car's full mileage, but the presentation here looks quite stock and correctly maintained. We like how this Mustang is built to be an easy driver with comfortable features like power steering, power brakes, and front discs. This is a beautiful convertible which just needs a bit of TLC.
