For sale is a beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang with its original 289 V8 Paired with a 3-Speed Manual transmission. This vehicle has had only ONE OWNER for the past 30 years. It was a long term project for a gentleman in Valley Springs, CA. He had dreams of fully restoring this Mustang. He did all the body work, painted it and bought all new interior and exterior pieces. Unfortunately he passed away before being able to finish the car leaving his daughter with the mustang and all the new parts. She was quite overwhelmed with the whole deal so she decided to sell it. When we got the car we installed the whole interior from the headliner, dash, seats, carpets, and everything between. All of that was brand new. We proceeded with installing all the glass, seals, trim pieces, and bumpers. Everything was brand new when we put it on. After that long tedious process of putting this mustang back together with very little effort at all got it running and driving in no time. And with that said let me talk about its current condition. The exterior is very straight and free of any rust, accidents, dents, or major scratches. I would give the paint an 8-10 as there are minor imperfections. The interior is pretty much all new and in excellent condition. There are little bits and pieces you can still do on this car as I'm sure you will notice. Mechanically it runs and drives excellent. The motor fires right up, sounds great and has a lot of power. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Brakes and suspension feel fine. Like new michelin tires. The carburetor may need a new accelerator pump or possibly a rebuild. All of which is not too big of a deal and if I have a chance I may do it prior to the sale. ( not guaranteed). Rust free mustang all around. No rust issues whatsoever. Clean CA title. This is an original V8/ 3- speed mustang. It cruises down the highway going 70 MPH with ease. Very fun car to drive.
